Proposing “to her” is never easy. There are if’s and buts and there is no end to lingering doubts. The lyric by Sahir Ludhianvi reflects this perpetual dilemma during courtship. Rendered in music by Hemant Kumar was for the film “Girl Friend” starring Waheeda Rehman and Kishore Kumar. Notice that the music composition is like a one-way passage and therefore unconventional in genre. This is a journey which we must have sometimes passed or will be passing… This is also my first song clip in mixing a duet with a montage style visual.
