Pippi Longstocking, the New Translation (PARODY – NOT FOR KIDS)
In 1973, the beloved Swedish children’s film Pippi Långstrump was released in English to delighted American audiences. Unfortunately, this translation was rife with inaccuracies, resulting in a film whose intent bears little resemblance to Astrid Lindgrin’s original vision. We are proud to present the first installment of this digitally remastered edition with entirely retranslated English subtitles. (Not really – this is actually a hilarious recaptioning of the first 10 minutes of the original that has nothing to do with the actual meaning of the film. View at your own risk.
